The Designer
Manjeet Bullar, born and brought up in an army officer's family has been influenced by a rich aesthetic, which symbolized Indian history and culture that till date has played a significant role in developing his ultimate design vocabulary. A professional degree in Anthropology with a specialization in architecture and anthropometry has honed in him the importance of 'form and function'.
Alongside Bullar developed his art skills and held numerous shows specializing in cutting edge sculptural renderings in welded steel out of which Mr. M.S Randhawa awarded the Punjab Lalit Kala Academy Award, to one particular sculpture of his, titled 'Static Time'. His works are part of the permanent collection of Dr. B.N Goswami of the Punjab University Chandigarh, Victoria and Albert Museum London and other important galleries in India and abroad.
